Mold Remediation in Local Citrus County Hotel
SERVPRO of Citrus County was called to a local hotel that had a room severely inhabited with mold. A shower running hot water was accidently left on in this hotel room for 5 days. The steam from the shower caused for moisture to migrate throughout the room thus the ceiling, floor, and everything in between being left covered in mold. Once contacted, SERVPRO of Citrus County acted immediately. A crew was sent out to begin remediation. Starting with containment, which prevents cross contamination, then moving on to cleaning, removing, and disposing of all the furniture/contents. Following, a complete demo of the room from the ceiling down was conducted. SERVPRO of Citrus County was able to remove the mold and ultimately pass a post testing for mold per IICRC regulations.
